I get these as well, I like them. In the last year I have also tried some toilet roll from Home Bargains and it was awful. It went into bits when used and from Jack Fultons which was really thin and horrid.
I cant remember if the one from Home Bargains was Nicky or not.0 -
Haven't tried Nicky, But we like Asda Shades - soft, thick and doesn't shred.
Cushelle's okay, we buy it sometimes if it's on offer.
I find Velvet a bit scratchy tbh!
And Andrex doesn't seem as good as it used to be.0 -

Price for Sainsbury's Basics toilet rolls has just go up to £2.10.:( (was £1.95).
Like all their prices for Basics, ' Going up and Staying up'.
Hey that could be their new slogan. Perhaps I should suggest it to them.:DThe more I live, the more I learn.

I also really like Asda Shades and I think it is stronger than Andrex.
But found this online http://www.staples.co.uk/soft-toilet-roll-pack-36/cbs/416752.html so currently trying Nicky. It seems to tear along the "quilting" a bit too easily but its OK. considering 24 rolls of Asda Shades is £8 and I got 36 rolls of Nicky for £7.50 its not a bad deal.0 -
18 rolls at B&M Bargains for £2.99, really great quality!Live for what tomorrow has to bring, not what yesterday has taken away0

Nicky comes in both 2ply & 3ply. From what I can remember, the 2ply isn't much cheaper than the 3, but there's a big difference in the quality.
I accidentally picked up the 2ply once as I didn't realise there were different ones & I thought it was useless.0 -
My favouritest is Nouvelle but only at half price.
We use basics from sainsburys or tesco. Love them.:wall:0
