Hi I'm considering opening a new Tesco current account and noticed they charge a monthly fee of £5 unless I can pay in £750. a month every month then its free! As I have banked with a building society for some time now I wondered if this was usual practice for banks? Also when it states £750. deposited each month is this…

text received today to advise application successful & a/c info showing when logged online. funds just transferred from my co-op a/c, showing within a few mins, & have just applied for my 2nd a/c with tesco.

so that will be 2 TSB a/c's & 2 Tesco a/c's for me & OH instead of ISA top ups at the moment as earning more on these current a/c's, making us work (well, a little bit!) for the best interest.
