No, i knew from the age of 4 I didnt want them. Lots of genetic disorders in my family brought my brothers up
Husband did but understood my decision. I hope he is ok will get him to talk in the next couple of days when I am in less pain.

Its the most natural thing in the world to mourn your loss. Whether you wanted children or not...it must still be a shock for you. I can't begin to imagine what you're going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with you xx

I am so sorry for all you are going through. I experienced similar when I lost my second pregnancy. It is not unusual for your emotions to be all over the place. Most likely you are suffering from a bit of shock too. Take care of yourself.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

So started what I thought was my period yesterday was incredibly light and just over a week early

Sorry I don't want to be pedantic, but did you mean you were a week late rather than early? Because if your period was early, unless you missed one period, you would have only just been pregnant if at all, not 5 weeks.

Sorry, don't want to add to your stress, I have been there, miscarried at 5 weeks a very much longed for baby (and then never fell pregnant again despite all our efforts), so now how it feels, but people read these threads for advice and this could confuse some readers.
