So started what I thought was my period yesterday was incredibly light and just over a week early. I passed a clot of flesh (not a blood clot) and it was still very light.

Today the cramps were unbearable and I have had some more icky lumps so called my GP told to do a pregnancy test. Yep I was pregnant probably about 5 weeks. Am still getting really bad waves of cramps and passing ick still not much blood any idea how long this will last?

Sorry for the details.

I have nothing useful to add and have thankfully never been through this; but hope you're ok.

    So sorry to hear this.

Bleeding can last 7 days or more. It will settle down as you were early on in the pregnancy.
Ensure you take regular pain relief aswell even if you have no pain!

It's a big event, and it must be upsetting to see your husband so devastated. I guess your are having lots of hormone changes that won't help your feelings.

Well, people change... from the moment you know you're expecting many women are filled with love, it hasn't worked out this time but good luck for whatever you decide in the future.

Just need to get the cramps under control and my pity party out of the way.

This explains why I have had two jack russells obsessed with my stomach the last couple of weeks.
