In the middle of a really heavy thunderstorm here at the moment and the sky is as black as Newgates knocker.
I did put a few bits of washing on the line earlier when it was dry, needless to say they are still out there.
DH is taking me shopping this afternoon, so hopefully the shops will be quiet because of the weather
I hate it when the shops are packed out.
Sistercas Congratulations to DDxx

Dandy - I don't know of anyone who has suffered endometriosis to then have cancer. What a dreadful thing to say. I am sure they are in breach of something or other.
Molly - ((((hugs)))))
Candlelight - Wonderful results
Well DS2 failed both Geog and Physics. Fully expected the Physics but thought he may have at least scraped a C in the other. Still it is his own fault. I really, really hope he has learn't from all this. It is such a waste of a year otherwise. It's his Geog teacher and her department I really feel bad for because she fought so hard to keep him. At least he didn't need these to get into College. Silly boy0 -
Hi mrsmortenharket,
Just read about Barleylands, yes it's great there isn't it? Have you been to the butterfly place at south woodham ferrers, it's well worth a visit. I'm sure you have if you live around the area. There is also the farm at south woodham, lovely for younger children.
Very pleased today as my DD has gotten into the uni of her choice. So well done to her and all the people getting their results.0 -

This is a little boy born with dispraxia, and we were told he would never be able to swim or ride a bike. I said well that won't be the end of the world anyway. Needless to say he can do both (swims like a fish) and clearly a lot more.
Can you tell we are so proud of him?
Many congratulations to everyone else who had results today

That's fantastic , well done :T:T0 -

I d not been to the butterfly place as I would scream if any flappy thing cMe near me! Marsh farm is nice but expensive for what's there now. Upon saying that, ds would love it.
I am very very fed up right now. The referral for ds has been refused. They've said for me to get in touch with autism charities. My god, it takes courage to admit I'm not coping and to say about his behaviour. I've had to fight for everything for my boy. Everything. It's beyond a joke.
It's raining heavily outdoors. Might need to removed the drain cover to avoid us flooding.

Mrs MH I am so sorry, do they have any idea how much it took for you to ask for help, both for yourself and your son.
To be honest I didn't know a referral could be refused. I suppose you are already in touch with at least one autism charity, if not is it worth it? Do you think you could confide in them and ask for help.
I am so sorry life is so difficult for you at the moment.
Sending you lots of gentle hugs and calming vibes to your Boy

Oh I am so sorry mrs MHZ. You must be going through such a lot. So awful to see your child poorly and desperately needing help, then taking all your courage to ask for help and then being refused. My heart goes out to you.
That's not really helping matters I know, but you have such an amazing amount of support on here. You are truly a wonderful mum.0 -
Mrs MH (((HUGS))) I think the Powers That Be are doing their level best to refuse anyone anything they need, and sadly that includes your young lad.
I don't know if you recall NPM's horror tales of how she had to fight tooth and nail to get any help for young Noah? Gggrrr, it makes me so angry on your behalf! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
