Incidentally, clicking on the "SPAM" button is the slowest way to alert the moderators. A complete spamming of the forum like this justifies filing a formal report.
I expect this thread will disappear with the SPAM threads...0 -
Many of the posts only get removed by people hitting spam button. Times i have reported spammers it take hours sometimes to act upon. They could block the number for a start in there posts, and or alter threshold to automatically ban the spammer after certain amount of threads, assuming software can do this0

Have to agree, hitting spam button at least makes them disappear. You can report them, but nothing appears to happen (may be behind the scenes stuff, but there is never any updates).0

This SPAM is regular and the moderators are doing what they can to stop it.0 -

I realise that, it might not even be a person but a bot as they also post in here which makes me think its some sort of script. I meant the number the spammer posts. More could be done by altering the threshold as I said before so x amount of people hit spam button the spammer would be ppr'edMoneyineptitude wrote: »The spammer(s) use a variety of different IP addresses, so there is nothing that can be done other than limit the amount of time the threads appear for.0

For reference, we are taking about mass spamming of this type of unpleasant spam.
