Well done OP. I've just bought a gold ring from a jeweller and it turns out it doesn't fit. I've taken it to three cash for gold jewellers and they agree it doesn't fit. I've thrown the ring away, so I'm sure the CC company will see me right.0

Ahh that's where you went wrong. You should have sold it for scrap like the OP did, then tried to claim from the cc company
