we have a Meile that came with a 10 year parts and labour warranty an offer that is still available today

John lewis have a Meile for £999.00 that you can claim the www.miele.co.uk/promotions/Free-10-Year-Warranty

the meile is the best machine that we have ever owned and I used to work in domestic appliance repair so know a thing or two about washing machines

with that machine above £1000.00 is a lot first off but it works out at £100.00 a year over the 10 years that the machine is covered by the warranty and any extra years that you get are a bonus

I have known Meile machines run for 15 years without a problem but you will get at least 10 years out of it

My Mum's Miele has been going strong for 29 years with no breakdowns. We bought it in Germany for £400ish from the factory
  • Leave it 15 mins between wash loads - lets bearing/ motor cool, so less friction & they last longer. My new beko is 9kg one & has a cleaning wash prog just 4 machine.

Miele without question make the best value washing machines. They have done for years. If you can afford the initial purchase price then by far their annual cost of ownership is significantly less than any other make.

Not only that they wash better than any other make and do so more efficiently, quieter and wash quicker than any other make.

Miele every time. There is no comparison.

Another vote for Miele. Bought ours around 8 years ago and gets used at least once a day without missing a beat.

If miele are not in your price range, Siemens.
That said, we had a miele dishwasher last year, had a problem with it, customer service was shocking. At least 10 phone calls and 3 deliveries of the wrong part.

read the manuals before you buy, the newer machines might say big(9-10kg) drum but most loads are smaller and to get the A+ rating use less water and leccy but have long washes.

A full hot cotton load will be 3 hours, the shorter timed loads will be much smaller.

Our old(12 years hard water) LG 1200 spin was better than our new Bosch 1400.

What is killing your current washers, if it is something you are doing then it will still kill a more expensive one.

    here are the Bosch manuals.
