Indeed and that is the problem. A real reason for overstay which is not trying to dodge system etc, is never accepted. You are one of the lucky ones because you came here first, however so many people do not know how to research, do not realise they have to appeal on legal grounds etc. It just isn't fair. Which is why we tell anyone and everyone who ever visits the forum to spread the word!Newbie thread: go to the top of this page and find these words: Main site > MoneySavingExpert.com Forums > Household & Travel > Motoring > Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Click on words Parking Tickets, Fines & Parking. Newbie thread is the first post. Blue New Thread button is just above it to left.0

im in touch with another GYM member who says he lost at POPLA and paid up £100. So if he allegedly committed the same offence and has his appeal rejected , but i have mine upheld. Doesnt it make a mockery of the whole set up?

I just got an Email from POPLA with the "operators evidence" with a zip file of letter and list of costs to "prove" how much i have cost them. and also another scan of a load of car reg plates showing the time of sign ins, although at the top of the letter it says "As can be seen the appellant’s VRM ‘YK09LGL’" which isn't even my car reg? so they have got that wrong for starters.
the emails from popla doesn't really say much apart form see attached evidence. so not really sure what to do from here now.:j0 -
Look at all the other VCS and Excel (owned by same person) threads over the last day or two - it's been discussed to death how to rebut this by emailing POPLA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
