shall I just uninstall all the recent stuff I downloaded and re-install it paying attention to the installation process like you said ?
I ran Malwarebytes 3 times yesterday and all 3 times it found malware, despite me not downloading anything yesterday…
couldn't get Telstra to work last night after you “left”, the modem said connected but I got the “Unable to connect to the Internet” message0 -
Reset all of your Browsers. As I suggested before...you should really copy off your important data to an external source and the run a full destructive restore...and then stop installing junk programs to your laptop.
At that you point you should think about updating your OS to Windows 8.1 Update 1.0 -

thanks but won't that uninstall all the programs I added, including the good ones (Telstra, Avast etc) ?0 -
Also, would a simple "Refresh" be ok too ?0
