That maybe, but prumsuptions and asumptions are not fact and are not helping, as an actual fact they are wrong, and should not assume anything. I would be very grate full if this could be avoided i will not comment on this any more ,
assuming some one actually has something that will help
(assumptions are the mother of all )

    Hows this then.

If you were to take this to court, a judge is likely to ask the same questions/pick the same holes in your argument.

After all, you said you sent notice of cancellation, but who's to say this wasnt you sending your proof of no claims/other documentation relating to your policy?

If you took out another policy that was cheaper and can prove this, then it backs up your claim that you cancelled when you said you did.

I'm not here to insult you or belittle you. I'm only interested in giving advice and the only way we can give accurate advice is sometimes by asking such questions.

If you're only willing to give us the information you choose to give us, then you have to appreciate that you may receive advice that could not only be ineffective, but end up putting you in a worse position than you are now.

    Your choice.

    Thanks for that reply :)

Okay, the finance agreement, does it have any clauses about the car having to be insured? I've seen a few agreements with a clause such as this so might be worthwhile checking your T&C's.
