    Thanks stclair :)

So as I had a blue card previously is this new card being issued to me likely to indicate an improvement in how Natwest views my risk as an account holder ?

I have other current accounts elsewhere and as I have a couple of 5yr old (now settled) defaults I always got online type debit cards previously.

I would say so yes as with your current debit card the balance of your account is not always checked to see if their is funds available.

    Thanks stClair.

    :-)
  • Has anyone had a replacement online debit card? Whats the design like? is it the same but in blue?

I've got a new one for my 'Basic' account (an old STEP account I still have) and the design has been updated, however it's cheap in look/feel with glossy coating etc.

Used the new Purple card I got for my Select account with a contactless payment (first time) - took 3 days to appear on the account :D Happy days lol
