As StClair says if its the purple one and has contactless its the ofline card, which means you can use it at pay@pump and also on ships, planes and trains that cannot always check to see if you have funds available.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

Isn't that a bit of a gamble where less-savvy spenders are concerned?0 -

Life is a gamble, and its not up to banks to control what people spend their money on!!!Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -

You are right, of course! - But plenty of posters here would not agree with you:
"How could I go overdrawn? The bank should not have allowed the transaction to go through!"0 -

As stated its not up to the bank to control what you spend your own money on, people need to take responsibility for spending money they knew they didn't have.
People would be just as upset for the bank not allowing a transaction to go through, so they can't win either way!!Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0
