"Best" Android phone on contract?

Just reporting back to say what I did in case it helps anyone.
I really wanted the LG G3 but the prices being quoted were silly (only wanted to pay £25 to £28 per month) and did I want to sign up for another 24 month contract? I would have preferred not to but I would probably have done so... if the handset and price was right.
Plan B. Look for an older handset like LG G2 (hard to find and wanted the 32Gb version). Not easy and I couldn't pick one that I was happy with. This was getting hard.
Plan C. Try the One Plus One forum and post a comment, you never know. I get an invite 20 minutes later and its ordered.
Now I have a SIM only deal and this handset. Over the course of 24 months I'll be paying around £24 a month taking into account the handset price. Its a little bit of a gamble because the handset isn't established but it has glowing reviews.0 -
The OS is the well established Cyanogen based upon Android 4.4 and likely to be fast off the blocks with Android L .0

If you've got a One Plus One, remember that 4g will only work on EE and Three. Not o2 or vodafone.0

and it wont ever be able to use the 800mhz band that all 4 will use to provide better 4g coverage. I am expecting to see 800mhz rolled out within 12 months.
For this reason alone I think the oneplusone should not be considered in the uk.0
