    Afternoon all
Lost the post I wrote this morning as the power went off, to recap.
I leaped out of bed at silly o'clock to answer the phone, it was some muppet claiming to be from Microsoft & trying to tell me my computer was having problems. I launched in to my 'I was using a computer before you were born' tirade, combined with my 'Do you know what FFFing time it is here in the UK' poor begger was too stunned to hang up to start with.
Then BG turned up to change the meter, what a con, they are using it as an excuse to condemn cooker & boilers, sent him off with a flea in his ear.
Then we had a hospital appointment, on the way back I bought some fabric so I'll do some dressmaking later.
Hugs to Molly, Hilly & anyone else in need.
LW I hope you are getting on ok with Jessie.
    Hugs Hester
    Chin up, Titus out.

LW glad to hear you have a furry friend.

Been lurking for a while but really needed to talk to fur friendly people.

    RANT ALERT

Ozzie was attacked by a Staffie this morning. No collar although apparently according to the RSPCA he is microchipped and looks like he's been used as a fighting dog. It took two helpful men passing by to literally kick him off Oz after about 5 mins. Oz is currently on a drip at the vets with puncture wounds round his neck. Only the fact he is a Rough Collie saved him from much worse because of his fur. How can people be so irresponsible.

Anyway, getting well vibes please. As he's 12 the shock is about as dangerous as the bites.

Thanks to West Midlands police for a fast response at 0600.

I wasn't going to post today, because I'm not really up to feigning happy (currently running on coffee and adrenaline); but I can't "read and run" without posting mega healing vibes for Ozzie. I'll send what healing energy I can muster his way.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Thanks LW. I'm just scared at the moment. I'm sure I'll get to raging once I am sure he's going to be OK.

Ive just spoken to my daughter in South Africa. She is bowled over by the generosity of the people on this thread that have donated to the Baby House from the link I posted yesterday.

From Leanne, Kim and myself. Thank you.

FurryBeastOz, so glad that Oz has survived his ordeal. Dog fighting used to be rife in the Midlands not so long back. Do you remember when they banned Pit Bulls? Well, when they stock was drying up they interbred brothers with sisters and a new breed of super crazed dogs were born. Thankfully, because they were interbred, they didn't live long, but not before they had interbred puppies of their own.

    Get well soon Oz.

(((Hugs)))) to Ozzie - some people shouldn,t be allowed to have dogs - as someone wiser than me said, there is no such thing as a bad dog, only a bad owner....
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I dread to think what he is going to look like - they are having to shave him to deal with the bites. He's a very proud Lassie dog. I won't care as long as he's OK, but he'll hate it.
