I would recommend looking at "3" as their 3GB 90 day SIMs are often available at a bit over £10 and a 3 MiFi. Use the SIM it comes with then buy the 3GB SIMs as you need them.

That used to be the case but when I checked a few months back and again now the going rate is now a tad over £20 - unless of course you can give me a link to one at ~ £10 (which I will promptly buy). They also stopped offering cashback deals on the rolling monthly contact SIMs

Even at that price it would be theoretically poorer value that the EE SIM.

The clincher on value is what will work for you of course.

I'm currently connected via a 3G 10GB £15 monthly SIM. Whether that is the best value or not is irrelevant. I'm in a holiday caravan in Norfolk and the only 3G signal you can pick up here is Three's - everbody else in this location is at best Edge which to my mind is unusable.

If you have the luxury of several providers then price becomes relevant. Otherwise it isn't.
