Boo to management. :( I completely felt that at my last job. New job seems better, but there's a different kind of chaos to the environment (mostly external, so at least it's a "we're a team in this maelstrom" vibe).

Nice one on the voucher and the month off the mortgage. :)

Well done on your voucher win and knocking another month off your mortgage. :T Sorry to hear that work is rubbish at the moment. :( Keep being kind to yourself.

It's crazy how often you knock a month off your end date. Great work bookworm :j

Thanks Cath :) I'm always surprised too but in a good way! Now my interest has become so much less, it means that if can OP at least that amount, my actual mortgage payment all goes against the capital reduction. If I manage any extra OP's - then that's just a bonus! Really goes to show that small amounts really can add up and make a good effect.

Good evening - the weekend is finally here :j Why is it that 4 day weeks after a bank holiday seem longer than a normal 5 day weeks?!

Sadly no OP news today. Though I have claimed a small amount cashback this evening and won 25p on the TCB competition :T

I've had a very high brow tea tonight of fish fingers, potato waffles and spaghetti hoops... :rotfl:

    Good Morning

I'm up earlier than I would have liked to have been today.. but I'm waiting for a delivery and it's one of those 'lovely' 8-6 slots :( On the plus side, at least I have a legitimate reason for staying at home and pottering :p

    So today's plan is:

    - catch up on surveys (as been a bit lax this week)
    - update my meter readings for elec/gas company
    - purchase a birthday present for a friend (this can be done online)
    - do housework

I'm sure there are other things but that's all I can think of right now.

Well today is full of ups and downs - just had a text message to say that my parcel will be here from anytime up to 9pm  That's moving the goal posts somewhat...can only hope it comes way before that.

In better news, the post has also arrived and in it was a £25 cheque from a recent mystery shopping task I did :T

:j my parcel has just arrived. That means I am no longer tied to the house :D

I have been a little productive during the wait so far:

    - catch up on surveys (as been a bit lax this week) - done
    - update my meter readings for elec/gas company - done
    - purchase a birthday present for a friend (this can be done online) - done
    - do housework - not even started :o
