I did really enjoy it
Yes, one of the things I love most about being mobile....is the independence it gives me...:)... even after all these years...I still find it as exciting (in terms of potential adventures) as when I first started to drive0 -
Great news about the car BW, I bet you can't wait! :j It sounds like you've had a really lovely day today, I'm very envious after spending the day studying/doing 'homework'. I did manage to get out for a little walk this afternoon though and the weather was gorgeous, so I can't complain too much.

Hiya MG
It still doesn't feel quite real in some ways...I'm sure I will get more excited as the week goes on
Glad you managed to get out and enjoy some of the beautiful weather. Won't be long til the clocks change and then hopefully we can all make better use of the longer daylight hours... although having said that the last few years it's taken me a while to get over the time shift...0 -
Well that's Monday's work over and done with. It's bad but I'm counting the days til the weekend
Had an incident with a tub of face cream this morning...and managed to knock it off my dressing table and on to the floor...whilst covering some nearby clothes that were hung up in the process  So had to stick a load of washing on first thing in order to not have greasy stains...not what I needed at 6.15am. Thankfully the rest of the day passed without any further incidents...
No money news...feels funny not making OP's.... will look forward to restarting again next month0 -
Another day done
Ran into a friend unexpectedly tonight on my commute home... which was a lovely surprise. Also made the journey back more enjoyable
I feel stiff and achey tonight...a sure sign that I spent too long sitting at my desk today without moving. Anyone got a hunky masseuse that they send my way?!:rotfl:

Another one looking forward to the clock change. It makes such a difference when I can get home from work and play in the garden with the children. It just brings so much more quality to the day. The lighter mornings are really helping at the moment too.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Hi Bookworm - how lovely, in the day and age of electronic communication I think personal post (that is how I refer to it to differentiate from bills or junk mail) is even more special!0
