Yay payday... and a day off... :D
I have made another £20 OP in celebration.... :rotfl:

Well done on your op's BW :T I hope you're enjoying your long weekend too. I've got to wait until next Thursday for payday and I'm certainly scraping the barrel for pennies at the moment. On the plus side, my cupboards are full and there's nothing I need so all is well in the world.

Hope it's sunny where you are.

Thanks for popping by Mr E, Cath & MG :)

I've had a lovely weekend away in Devon visiting a friend. It was very relaxing and I truly feel like I've had a mini holiday :T Just for once the time didn't seem to whizz past uncontrollably... is there a different time zone I don't know about in the SW? :rotfl:

Tomorrow will be a shock to the system getting up and going back to the treadmill of work.....

Weekend breaks are very restorative, glad you enjoyed yours.

I love it down in Devon, but haven't been for many years.

Well this week seems to be whizzing past! Can't believe it's Friday tomorrow already.

Travel trauma today...makes me start dreaming again about that elusive lottery win... as I would so love to get off the treadmill.

Not much to report on the money front this week other than a small OP of £2.39 which was some cashback I got from £co.

:j My lovely long weekend has started... I decided to take the afternoon off work :p

Since I'm at home I've taken the liberty of updating my mortgage spreadsheet this afternoon and I'm happy to report that I've knocked another 2 months off the mortgage and that I'm officially below £85K :D

It would have been a NSD too but I've had to rebook my airport car parking for my upcoming holiday... as the holiday company have changed the dates  It's cost me £17 more now... :( ahh well.... it's still worth it for the holiday ;)

I'm off to the sofa to veg out with my book... somehow feels nicer when it's a time of day I would usually be at work :p

    BW :)

    Hi Luckyinlife :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope the read wasn't too boring :o

Are you on a fixed rate? If so, when does it end? I can understand your frustration. I was on a high rate until last year myself - but you do what you think is right at the time.

Not boring at all really interesting to see how everyone goes about it differently

Ya iv only had my mortgage a month now payed my second payment today fixed for 2 years at 6.4% its that rate as i only had one year self employment records and had 2 defaults on my account so considering my situation i don't mind at all as i know its only for 2 years

Its not ideal but what is in life i guess luckily the only debt i have is the mortgage now so can concentrate on OP when i can.

Great milestone, that balance will soon start with a 7! it is so satisfying knocking those months off!

I used to track that a lot on my SS (basic excel understanding, ie someone did it for me) but never know what interest rate to put in for after my fixed rate so lose that motivation of seeing the end term reduce.

Enjoy your long weekend BW, it seems too long since the last bank holiday.
