I have today off work :T so had a leisurely lie in just because....
Not sure of my plans for the day yet...but really should leave the house at some stage...

I managed to leave the house

I nipped to a home furnishings store beginning with D and ending in M to spend some vouchers I received for Chrimbo. I ended up spending a little more of my own money but did come away with a new ceramic mixing bowl that I have been after for a while so don't feel too guilty. The vouchers paid for some new towels, a chopping board and some storage boxes that I wanted for work lunches.

The only downside to this trip was that everyone else seemed to have the same idea :rotfl: so it was a tad busy.

Now I've back at home enjoying the fact that I am not at work! Small pleasures

It sounds like you've had a very successful 2014, all things considered

We're also targetting 70% LTV for a Mar 2016 remortgage, but it's all down to taking a shorter term, I remain an unrepentant OP avoider

It''s a grey wet day here...but I'm pleased that it's not cold.
I'm having a lazy morning pottering at home then seeing some friends later on

Money news:

I received some cufflinks free with a t-shirt that I bought as an Xmas gift. There wasn't anyone I knew that would want/use them so put them on the Bay of E. I have sold them this morning :T
The money will be OP'd in due course - should be around £7 after fees. Better than nothing! And it stops them sitting around the house gathering dust!

Fabulous day yesterday with friends. Came home feeling really relaxed and chilled out. Hoping to carry that feeling through today while trying not to think about returning to work tomorrow.

I was good and walked up the stairs at work - now need to repeat daily

Evening home a little earlier than usual which is a welcome relief as I've been feeling a bit under the weather the last couple of days. Felt cold and achey but doesn't seem to have developed into anything more than tiredness. (well other than an annoying cough :mad:). I'm hoping that a quiet-ish weekend will sort me out

In money news - small OP made of £11.34 which was a survey payment and cashback

Off to ponder an easy tea...(that is to cook rather than eat :rotfl:all eating is easy for me )

I didn't sleep particularly well as kept coughing However, I 'm still happy that there was no work to get up for today.

My chest/cough is no better and so since the pharmacist couldn't offer any more advice (to that I have already tried) I have a drs appointment this morning. I will be working at home for the rest of the day afterwards

We had a few inches of snow overnight though it seems to be melting on the roads at least. Hope everyone else is keeping warm/safe
