Happy birthday :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks for stopping by Cath
Morning all - I've been quiet the last few days as just trying to get through the working week - it's been a real struggle for me. Not sure why but hoping it's better next week. So I'm :j it's now the weekend
Paid off the cc - bit disappointed with myself about how much I spent over Xmas and new year. Must try harder this year. I need to be strict with myself again this next month to get back on track.
Managed to get a 15% saving on my car insurance from current provider so have renewed with them. I'm pleased with that as I didn't really want to move it
Have a great day whatever you are up to

Good Morning :hello:
Been awol this week. Partly due to work being nuts but I also had a funeral to attend (some of you will remember I lost a relative at New Year). It's therefore been an emotional and mentally draining week. I'm looking forward to a new month starting and looking forward again
Been a relatively low spend week. Only groceries in the main and a couple of charity sponsorships for colleagues.
No OP's made this week but I finish the month by knocking another month of the mortgage :T Small steps but there are definitely visible signs which is great to see and I need to focus on that when I have the days I feel frustrated with the progress.
I'm setting myself the challenge of not using the cc this month at all. This may be tough as I have a few social events coming up this month (and even into March) so I need to be careful with the spends in all areas to achieve this.
In fairness I only used it once this month for the car insurance which will be paid off on time as I have the money ready to go when it's due.
Had more snow overnight, though only a dusting really. However, it's giving me a good excuse to stay indoors and get some jobs done around the house.
Have a great day0 -
Morning
It's taken me a while to get going this morning
I have beating myself up mentally most of the night. I am currently working through an OU course (4 weeks in) and yesterday I got one question wrong in the end of module test. So now I have broken my previously unblemished 100% scoreI know it's silly but I can't seem to let it go
Can't believe it's already February...time seems to be whizzing along

Hugs.
I know what it is to beat yourself up over things, I analyse every mistake I make for months after the event. I have no words of wisdom to offer beyond asking 'if you could go back in time, would you (honestly) have answered differently?' If not, you'll forgive yourself in time.

Thanks Mr E - I'm not good at being kind to myselfbut will try
I did consider another answer.. and I think I only picked the one I did because it was the last question and I was rushing a bit at that point. I do think if I had take a few seconds more, I could well have opted for the right answer. I think that's what's bothering me so much....0 -

At the end of the day you're on track, assuming you're going 'all the way', for a first :T. I don't think they do 'first with knobs on' - if someone else had got your scores what would you tell them?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
