Well I can hardly believe yet another year has come and gone
I'm still plodding away, and although I don't post often, I try and keep up with diaries in the background. Seems like so many are going great guns - so lovely to see.
So what have been the highlights of the last year:- new job (which for the most part I enjoy, it's still work right
. However, definitely happier than I was at old place)
- owning my car outright (shifted what remains of the balance on to a 0% cc in true MSE style)
- Brief holiday to Germany and Belgium
- Some personal bucket list items have been ticked off
- First trip to Wimbledon - loved it
- Multiple trips to the theatre - for variety of muscials, plays, and comedy gigs. (This is set to continue into this year as I have 4 outings already booked so far up to May)
- spending more time with family/friends
- 3 seperate premium bond wins (sadly not the big one but nice surprises nevertheless especially given a relatively small holding)
Things already in the pipeline for this year:
- various theatre/comedy trips as mentioned above
- remortgage due May (already have my eye on this)
- Holiday to Italy/Switzerland in July
Wishing everyone a happy & properous 2020

Ok so here is a summary of where I ended up at the end of 2019:
LTV - 48.61% (down from 53.65%).
This is perfect for remortgage due in May (already considering my optionson this as should be able to fix a deal from Feb/March onwards)
Balance - £55,900 - yes had to round this down(down from £61,700)
End date - reduced by another 6 months - now Jan 2028
Daily interest - £2.93 (down from £3.22)
OP's for 2018 - £2,430.89 (down from last year and previous years. However, I'm still happy with this as I don't feel I'm making too many compromises and not letting it take over my life. I'm also making extra pension contributions)
Total OP's since starting MFW - £22,641.59 :j
Surveys - £618.89 (I've definitely taken my foot off the pedal with these and have have actually reduced the number of sites I use. This is still a decent amount 'for free' IMO)
So not massive figures - but I'm plodding along - and continuing to head in the right direction

Hi MG - really good to 'see you'. Aside from current events, I'm ok thanks.Still plugging away at the mortgage. In fact new deal starts as of tomorrow. Just waiting to hear what new payments will be going forward. Opted for a 5 year deal this time as I'm well below 50% LTV now and thought this way I can keep my nice low rate should they rise again. Plus I will have a good idea of what's left in another 5 years. Hopefully not much!I hope that life is treating you well.Take care and stop by againBW x3
