Hi BW, great progress and figures. Have you managed to knock 10 months off your end date during 2018, that's amazing!

We've a similar end date, currently March 2028 here but hoping to knock 3 months off this year. New fixed rate kicks in April which will help a lot.

Are you going to be popping in more regularly?

Thanks Cath :). I'm pleased too. Just goes to show the small payments do make a difference over time. I will be trying to post more

Well first day at work completed for the year. I did wonder for a few seconds whether I would have to go in at all, as I received an email from the lottery first thing this morning.......... However, sadly it was only a £4.40 prize, :rotfl:which although still lovely is not going to get me far. However, I have dutifully paid it as an OP to the mortgage, so that is my OP's off for 2019 :T

I'm struggling with work lunches at the moment. I thought it was just a run up to the festive season slump, but I'm not so sure since I can't shake it off.
I'm finding it hard to make lunch at all and if I do, I just don't fancy anything that I make/take in. However, I can't keep (and don't want to) buying lunch. I need to figure out some new ideas /get some inspiration from somewhere. If anyone is reading this has some tips or ideas, please feel feel to share them with me

Bit of survey news - first two payments of the year requested:

    - £10 vouchers requested from CP
    - £25 cash payment requested from 1P

Quietly plodding here too. Trying to maximise survey/Cashback earnings but other than that it's simply a wait for payday!

Hi Cath - yes payday seems to be a long way off still!

I have the delight of my car insurance being due this month as well. It's gone up by almost £50 since last year. I've started to look for alternatives but it's not looking good so far :(

Today has been a particularly challenging on the work front. I'm very glad to be home

However, in slightly better news, I won £10 on a scratchcard (which was also a gift!)

My provider put up my policy. I had to ring them for renewal quote so said I'd do some shopping around and they reduced it by around £60. I didn't even need to do a hard sell. Hopefully you can get a better deal.

:o Well the intention to post more is clearly not going well :rotfl:

Things are good, just very busy. Since I was last here I've changed jobs. Now that I'm settling into a new routine, it's going well.

Still chipping away at the mortgage and today is actually a landmark day for me...as I've dropped into the 50's for the first time :j I'm pretty excited about it and couldn't resist sharing the news.

I hope that everyone who may read this is keeping well.
