A quiet day pottering at home. I was going to pop out but someone has blocked my drive so I can't get out. I could go and find out where the person is I'm sure, but not really feeling up to the aggro0 -

Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a happy new year. Hope that 2018 is a good one******
I've not been posting for a while now. I had to take a break from MSE as I was finding it was taking over my life in an unhealthy way. I didn't stop my MSE ways (well a bit more spendy but not too bad) - just a break from posting.
I've been slowly spending more time here again, and reading rather than posting, in last few weeks. Still not sure whether I will come back to posting FT - but will see. However, I will do an end of year wrap up shortly

Ok so here is a summary of where I ended up at the end of 2017:
LTV - 59.26% (down from 64.73%). Pleased with this as I am now below 60% LTV which was my target for remortgage in May.
Balance - £68,150 - yes had to round this down(down from £74,447.63)
End date - reduced by 10 months - now May 2029
Daily interest - £3.47 (down from £3.76)
OP's for 2017 - £2,707.82 (this was lower than 2016 £3,110.63) - I always knew it would be a stretch to match or beat it. However, still chipping away so I'm happy with that.
Total OP's since starting MFW - £17,207.82 :j
Surveys - I had a bumper year - with a total of £1,002.31 - which is my best ever! (year before was £668.25).
Not massive figures - but plodding along - and continuing to head in the right direction
