The school offers lots of after school clubs so he does those - his after school club (childcare) is onsite so they collect him after it finishes etc. He does football which starts at 6pm and DH leaves at 5pm to get him there, it is a rush. Other football is at 5pm on a different night and I am a teacher so technically I can leave at 3.30pm but this involves running out of classroom/school the second the bell goes which is bad form and means I end up marking at football! Swimming happens at the weekend. I think you have to do what you can and recognise that you are not superhuman and that all things are not possible.
