Any adcice Tom Tom for N95?

I have just got the much talked about N95 and I must say its blown me far far away.

One thing is I have realised that I need to install Tom Tom eventhough its got GPS.

Please, can someone give me best advice on how to install Tom Tom on it?

Would also be interested in knowing. My friend bought Tom Tom for an N73, and it was almost as much as the actual sat nav would have cost itself!

TomTom does not work with the internal GPS of N95. So to use TomTom, you still need a GPS receiver and connect through bluetooth, like any other S60 phone that doesn't have the internal GPS (N73/N80 etc).

Many people, including myself, are waiting for that patch that would make TomTom recognise N95's internal GPS, and get rid of the bluetooth GPS.

I have a N95 with Tom Tom installed and it works a treat although not with the inbuilt GPS Unit at present. You need to use an external Bluetooth one.

Basically you need Tom Tom Navigator 6 which you then install from the DVD for the Version with Europe on it to your Micro SD memory card via your PC with a Card Reader. You then put the Micro SD Card back in the N95 switch it on and it will see the new App and install it for you. Displays very nicely in landscape mode as well.

Need to know anything else just ask.

TT Navigator 6 Western Europe to include UK on DVD - £89.95 but this doesn't include a Bluetooth GPS Receiver.

Route 66 mobile works with inbuilt GPS on the N95
I am using Route66 Mobile7 v7.30 Google it and download the torrent file.

It is possible.. But they are often pirate copies.

YEs, be very careful on eBay as said lots of pirate copies around that won't activate.
