I don't have any wine making equipment. Really the only jam I'd make that would be eaten so don't really want to make more, same with chutney.
I have plenty of lemons and limes sliced in the freezer so would rather do something a bit different with them
Freezers are looking very, very full so may be quite tricky to get more in.
There will be crumble made later
Any other ideas? Please and ta!
Sounds like you've most bases covered, short of drying them or bottling them? Or can you infuse some of it with vodka?
I was thinking of doing some mini apple pies (size of mince pies) because I figured you could squeeze them into smaller spaces in the freezer
What about lemon/lime curd?Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18

I ve been in a similar situation. I could n t leave as mortgage needs paying.
I m taking anti depressants and have counselling. Moneysaving has helped as now nearly able to look for something else. Then I can tell my boss where to stick it.
Luckily the others I work with are very supportive. My boss is a male chauvinist ebeenezzer Scrooge.
Big TINY hug for you too rosie. :A
Different circumstances but moneysaving enabled me not too work while I was looking after my mum. I am sure I saved a lot more during that time than I could ever have earned. Keep your chin up.0 -

I suppose as it's near the end of this excellent FC thread - no, I do mean it:A - a little bit of fun.
BBC News - maybe even more short-staffed than what I thought.
An unexpected failure to change shifts at 8pm. James Coomarasamy (normally a presenter on BBC World) continuing until, I now think, 9pm. Then... it looks like Reeta Chakrabarti is going to be on the News Channel all the rest of the evening (wonder what her Twitter will say after the World Cup midnight bulletin of early July?:rotfl: - I am a gossip here aren't I?), as well as the late BBC ONE bulletin. She's (almost) doing a Rajesh (Mirchandani) on-air shift - last week he did 5.20pm and then 8pm-12.30am. So, a seven/eight hour shift (I suspect he'd still be there, if need be, until 1am?). Or maybe James will stay till after 10:eek: and then Reeta do the last bit? Anyway...
I'm getting a bit fed up of Reeta now on the BBC ONE bulletins but it's now very exciting: I am looking forward to seeing her on the non-BBC ONE parts as she is so rarely on those nowadays:rotfl::rotfl:.
We had Tim Willcox this morning. I almost mentioned last night (or maybe night before, who knows?) that I wondered where he was. Well, there, today, was the answer. Shaun Ley (pronounced 'Lay') - normally does Radio 4 programming - has (as far as I know, and I know nothing, only very recently) been presenting, very ably, on the news. He missed out appearing on BBC ONE by one hour today, as today's BBC ONE bulletin was at midday. Wonder if he'll make his debut, as a presenter, on BBC ONE tomorrow? Tim Willcox doesn't seem to be on as much (whether News Channel or both BBC ONE and News Channel), but I know that around four years ago, it seemed to some people to be on nearly all the time - people started calling him "Workaholicox" (http://www.tvforum.co.uk/thenewsroom/bbc-news-presenters-rotas-27696/page-148 and http://www.tvforum.co.uk/thenewsroom/bbc-news-presenters-rotas-27696/page-149) - "Does that guy ever go home?" - with one person saying he must have been at TVC (as was) from at least 7am (http://www.tvforum.co.uk/thenewsroom/bbc-news-presenters-rotas-27696/), then doing afternoon presentation, then back all through the evening. Then 7am onwards the following morning:rotfl:.0 -
