    We have been out for a nice walk down by the river. Only problem is we came back with 6lbs of blackberries, I already have 3lbs in the freezer! Have frozen that lot now but shall have to look up a few recipes, can't make jam as already have loads, shall have to look into making curd or somesuch!

    I use them in smoothies.
    Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

    Interesting Quiz

    How Many English Words Do You Actually Know?

    So you speak English, we know that. But do you know the meaning of all these words? Let's see if you're a real vocabulary expert!

    Beat ya!:p (Ner, ner, ner, ner, ner:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.)

    I got 24 (show off!:p - you to me there;)). My 24 gave me an A+, so that's the dividing line between B+ and A+ - apparently no A or A- therefore:p:rotfl::rotfl:.

    Pizza comparing OK to S for those who have any of the £1 off vouchers knocking about (and don't have too many Dr Os). Bread rolls a useful filler if you are barbecuing any M meat haul.

    Hi everyone,

    I've not been around for a while due to work related stress, its been hard for me to concentrate on money saving :( Some of you may remember I'd been having a lot of problems with work. More recently my boss made a giant leap from being bad to unbearable. I've been off for 3 weeks now and have a sicknote for 3 months for stress and anxiety. I won't be going back there though.

    I've decided to make the effort to get back glitchy shopping again as my MIL will be helping us out whilst I'm out of work so I want to help her by doing her shopping :) Also because I need to start saving cash again and to take my mind off my worries :)

    Glad to see that the Asda creamy ice cream is still giving a good return. There were a few unseen by MSM items in the 2 for £3 multibuy there which made it an even better bargain. I noticed they are on MSM now though but I'll have a look instore for others, I'm sure there will be something new :) I'm quite excited about coming back now :)
    Hi Evangeline
    Sorry to hear about your stress and anxiety. I'm going back to work on Monday after 6+ months off due to 'depression, anxiety and PTSD'
    Strangely enough the elite thread has kept me sane! (well maybe not, but it became part of my routine to log in and read the posts).
    Also, my first 'outings' on my own were to our local sada in search of glitches.... Freaked out in there when they changed the layout and the self service tills, but I live to tell the tale and have a decnt sized stash in the spare bedroom!

    Take care
