I enjoyed the 24 series - but reckon Spooks had the edge s it ws nearer to home ie this country. Mind you, the scene in the first series where one of the girls got her head shoved in a deep fat fryer put me right off scampi and chips for months !
They were never afraid of killing off their main characters.
:rotfl: that bit was a bit
I didn't rate the recent 24 series filmed in Britain as highly as the rest, and much as I love Stephen Fry's work I didn't think he was well cast in this instanceFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

The 'boring cheese' range from Lidl is just about the best around, IMHO, particularly the extra-mature chedder; works out around £5.50/kilo, too, if memory serves...Ladyshopper wrote: »I'm veggie karlie, so don't buy that stuff. I tend to stick to "boring" cheeses, as when I buy the nice ones, I can literally eat the whole block in one sitting. Tesco used to do a lovely one with pickled onion in, could demolish that in seconds. I now treat myself to the caramelised onion one from asda every now and again, it's lush! I definitely cannot be trusted with cheese around!'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
