Long shot I know, but is anyone from the Brighton / Hove area? My daughter has just moved there after 18 years in Portugal and is having difficulty finding rental properties that will accept dss. Does anyone know any landlords at all? Or what the local papers are down that way please? I am popping down from the midlands tomorrow to try to help her, even if we have to walk around looking in newsagents windows. Any tips gratefully received.

As much as she might need her own place she might do better looking for places to lodge with instead - try gum tree, findaroom or even if there is a local freecycle cafe.
I am thinking its going to be very hard - loads of students, holidaymakers etc

    Good Morning all...

2 more birthdays ...happy birthday Sarah & Wookey...have lovely days and save us some cake!

I have been compiling an A shopping list to include handwash...but see thats probably not a goer this morning so I'll substitute it for the S one that might include RTC sauces, and possibly I may have seen RTC coffee mentioned too...

Did reasonably well at T yeaterday was able to use lots of my vouchers but just couldnt find the peppery florette salad...not sure if T dont stock it or simply run out...but I'll try a different one later in the week as the vouchers I have dont expire yet...
I also managed to find by chance somr of the fathers day toffee chocolate popcorn in little boxes...not really keen on them but for 1p someone in the house will munch them up.

Good luck to anyone waiting on the A level results....its just a further reminder that this time next week its the GCSE's

Hope everyone has a great day
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
