Good morning all, meat coupon is in the sun. Last time the butcher told me it could be used for deli items, bacon sausage, hot chickens etc. So worth asking what it can be used for this time around. Sadly I wont be playing because I have no room in my fridge or freezer.

Have been going through a rough patch :( Been reading everyone's comments on Robin Williams and some excellent posts with insight into the horrible illness that is depression.
I have been a hairs breath of ending it all on many occasions, but fortunately am still here to tell the tale.

By the way I think you are doing an amazing job with your family, house guest and work :T Well done on juggling so many balls.

Glad your still here too :A

Good morning all, a dull one here with a bit of rain overnight. Still plenty of raspberries ripening though, nearly picked enough this week to make wine :D

Looking at the conversation about debts, we had one of those phone calls yesterday and I thought if I actually spoke to them this time I might be able to persuade them to go away. First question do you have any credit card debts - no, pay them off each month, second question do you have any outstanding loans - no, third question do you want to remortgage, so I thought I would play, said yes if you can get us a good rate. Started taking my details (not given accurately :) ), got down to how much we owe, guessed at around £8,000. It went very quiet. I said now that you have that information will you please stop calling. They put the phone down at the other end.

We always pay off the credit cards every month now, had trouble before but not going that way again, we got close to losing the house (very close, within a fortnight!). So now if we can't afford something we don't have it. It's amazing how many of those companies simply do not believe that you have no credit card debts/loans etc, they expect everyone to be in trouble!

On that note, the sun has come out now :D
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

Children are useful sometimes. I'm still in bed but the eldest two have just got back from the local Tesco Express with my papers. They actually woke me up to see if the voucher was on and should they go!
They are turning into right little MSErs!

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
