If savvy sees this he's going to open up a can of whoopass on you!

To be fair, I should have made it clear that I was referring to muggles who think the 'I'm cheaper' label is actually true

I met a woman this evening by the pears who had a coupon but had spent WAY more than a fiver but just shrugged when I suggested buying another paper and said 'well I needed to get some bits anyway'!

Could you please all stop talking about the morries f and v coupons! I have decided it is not financially viable to travel 12 miles to my nearest but it is playing havoc with me! All I can think about is the coupons and free fruit and veg. I wish I could travel with another 4 people to make it worth while but no-one else round here gets the offer like other people are saying. However, I really hope you are all enjoy your free fruit and veg.

My SIL was telling me how they struggle to pay bills. She insists there is no way to get her shopping down below £80 a week. Its all done online with s.com

I told her to buy two suns and go to M with her husband this weekend. They drive and there are TWO Ms within a mile of their house so i thought it was a viable option

    This response just in

"Ta. I think the separate trip to Morrisons just to buy veg when the rest of the shopping is getting delivered from elsewhere might be the killer blow for this plan!"

    :wall: :wall:

I've just had an animated phone call from my sister. She and her other half have been shopping all afternoon. They have done 5 morries shops and 4 apg shops.I knew they liked shopping but they are really getting a buzz from our type of shopping.
They are getting worse than me.They are doing more morries shops tomorrow.:rotfl::rotfl:

Been meaning to mention for ages how lovely VT's posts are:heart:

You always take time to put together a well considered response with lots of good solid advice. You are such a lovely poster:happylove

Thank you TM what a lovely thing to say.
I do try to construct well writen posts but I know I ramble sometimes.
I love everyones posts. I enjoy the community this thread brings together. I have had some very supportive messages these last few days and have been very lucky in finding a friendship with Naebbirac who is such a support to me.

Sorry for not posting birthday wishes last night but tablet decided it did not own a keyboard.

Lazy day today but spend reading 12 heavy bundles of documents for my friend. Hope I have helped him.

Mum bought me a couple of papers and the Mr A delivery man bought me 20 boxes of SK bars:T unfortunately the 5 subs of dark choc had to go back as dd doesn;t like those ones. Wish they had subbed with hazelnut as next on my list. Ordered with these some weird and wonderful things I actually needed but forgot to buy any food. Luckily I made a 'half' caked yesterday (4oz 2 egg combo in one tin then cut in half and sandwich together). Chicken out for tea but still not decided how to burn it:eek:

Hoping to have a big trip to Mr T in next town tomorrow as have lots of refurbished store vochers to use and mum wants to use up her various T vouchers.

The Sanex beckons so will do my catch up later.

Big hugs to TM as she has really made my day:A

The other week in A I saw this shampoo in the 3 for £10:
    shampoo-totalcare3in1.png

I scanned it and it came up unknown. I've search on MSM and can't see it. Could be an invisible trigger thats a bit more useful to people than the impulse. Can anybody else see it?

    Thank you! x

Realised I need to do a CC shop in A tomorrow as I have a £10 e voucher expiring.

I've done a search and see the Special K was working yesterday v S. Has it worked ok today for anyone please?

I can't face f and v fillers and was just going to put some Mullers in at 6 for £3. They are 5 for £3 in S.
Does this sound like a plan? I'm not worrying over pennies:rotfl:

You can say that again! I was in Morries this afternoon, getting some of the 2 for £3 fruit plus others to get to exactly £5 (natch:)), few people getting the same things, told one woman about the voucher, even showed her the paper which I had with me (and the papers were on sale about ten feet from the fruit n veg) and explained it and said she could basically get what she was planning to buy for free, she said "Oh that's great" then just walked away and continued shopping:rotfl:
But I did mention to another woman who went off and got a paper, so fair do's to her. She was very nice as well, more 'slummy mummy' than 'yummy mummy' ...[wonders, is it wrong to use bargain-hunting as a chat-up line?].

:rotfl: Nope, I got someone's number the other day for doing exactly that :)
