Realised I need to do a CC shop in A tomorrow as I have a £10 e voucher expiring.

I've done a search and see the Special K was working yesterday v S. Has it worked ok today for anyone please?

I can't face f and v fillers and was just going to put some Mullers in at 6 for £3. They are 5 for £3 in S.
Does this sound like a plan? I'm not worrying over pennies:rotfl:

Just dont want to lose my tenner

It worked for me on HD @2pm if this helps

I would buy. 5 mullers if thats the offer in S. I know you are trying to get to 8 items but that doesn't mean you need a full priced yog!

Have had to skip, so hope Ive not missed anything earth shattering.

Happy Birthday Arthien. I hope you've had a wonderful day

Do you have a recipe for the apple pickle by any chance? I keep meaning to try some pickles in my SC and haven't found any that have been recommended as such, but an Elite recommendation is the best there is :T
Yes, will hunt it out at home and post later, either tonight or might have to leave it till weekend.

Thanks, don't worry about it immediately though, it'll just go in my recipe book whenever you have the time to post it.

Here you go, Arth - RL can wait when an Elite-er is in need.:) (Sorry to hear about your job-hunting woes, btw:() Recipe links, with my notes:

    http://www.saga.co.uk/lifestyle/food/sundries/gardeners-windfall-chutney.aspx
    - got a big tick in my recipe folder, was my favourite of the ones I tried
    - makes 6 large jars
    - 1.5kg apples is prepared/peeled/cored weight
    - I didn't have ginger so used cinnamon instead
    - I made the Feisty variety, using chilli flakes and a little cayenne pepper (the cayenne pepper gives a 'creeps-up-behind-you-and says-boo!' kind of heat)

    http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2646/classic-apple-chutney
    - didn't try this one
    - note follow-up comments about ingredient quantities and cooking time

    http://pagan-wanderings.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/slow-cooker-chutney.html
    - brown sugar gives it a very dark colour
    - OK but not great
    - easy to make

(There was a really good recipe by Aly Hodge but the website page has since disappeared; I will try and scan my printout and post it.)

Morries fruit 'n' veg vouchers not valid at Morrisons Local stores, which I discovered earlier tonight ... just in case no one has mentioned it already.
