So I went to independent newsagent and got 10 more, no problem. "Ah, another one stocking up at Morries," the newsagent smiled. "Me too - I'm gonna fill me boots!".:D
My local shopkeeper told me the news would be the same in each one Only 6 bought as just 2 of us and freezer nearly full0 -
Evening gang,
a little weepy tonight as had a call from hospital about oh bloods (he's having an op next week).
The lady was really aggressive and when I told her we had a test at the docs and went for the result last week she started shouting at me....all you need really...to cut a long story short she has stirred things up at the docs and they rang and said they want to see him first thing........
he doesn't like medical things and doesn't get on well with doc so usually go along to keep the peace but work is closed now and not sure wether to go or not.....I have spent the last week persuading him to have the op as he is getting jittery but in pain, now I don't know what is going on and being treated so badly is not helping.
sorry to vent but needed to as there isn't anyone else I can tell

I was in Morries this afternoon, getting some of the 2 for £3 fruit plus others to get to exactly £5 (natch:)), few people getting the same things, told one woman about the voucher, even showed her the paper which I had with me (and the papers were on sale about ten feet from the fruit n veg) and explained it and said she could basically get what she was planning to buy for free, she said "Oh that's great" then just walked away and continued shopping:rotfl:
But I did mention to another woman who went off and got a paper, so fair do's to her. She was very nice as well, more 'slummy mummy' than 'yummy mummy' ...[wonders, is it wrong to use bargain-hunting as a chat-up line?].
A lovely lady saw me buying fruit and asked if I knew about the voucher. She was worried she'd offend me!
Told a few friends who all popped along too.
Who would turn down free? Very strange.:D
Well done Bubbs :A for helping out your neighbour. My dh is quite impatient too but since I've been on here he's so impressed with the savings that he's willing to go for it. Although I wouldn't let him do APG shop as he added a random pack of tictacs to his stack of meat shop in last week's voucher deal.
I think I'm addicted as I kept thinking, at least it's not As, I don't need to know how they compare.:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

How horrible to add to your stress like that.
Hope he is willing to get treatment he needs. I can't blame him for not wanting to go if that's the sort of treatment you get.0 -

I've been fortunate and not been out of work for any length of time but my sister was only able to find part time for 2 years, not in her field either and she was quite down about it all. She now has a great job. :T
Hang on in there, something will be right.
No, no news yet. I've enquired with the agency so I'll see what they come back with. I'm employed at the moment but bored out of my mind so need to get moving somewhere else ASAP! Thanks for asking though0
