I have solved the summer footwear problem. You can get proper sports/walking sandals like these http://www.sportsdirect.com/SearchResults?DescriptionFilter=sandals#dcp=1&dppp=24&OrderBy=rank&Filter=AFLOR%5EWomens%7CASUB%5ESandals (though I have never paid that much for them!)

They are just like walking in trainers except A LOT cooler, and I have walked along many beaches and in the sea in them, I also cycle in them and walk in them, I would happily walk miles in them, they are so comfy

Have to agree......I've had these Karrimor sandals and they are very comfy for walking and look good too.
Re the evouchers, I've only got £0.58 so far.....expecting a "bit" more than that so hopefully they'll come through soon so I can do a muggle shop.

I've actually ordered Crete walking sandals from Mountain warehouse at the weekend and I'm collected these today and I've high hopes of these - but a bit worried about wearing footwear I've not worn in

and they are purple
