Hi ,, need help!
it was over a year ago i got slapped with a ticket from met parking
at macdonalds . I actually used kfc as they had told me it was ok to
use the spaces for their "restaurant" , so as normal i parked and went
in to kfc but came out to find a parking charge, It was only then that
i noticed the signs after walking up to one of them that wasnt readable from where i was parked. so i went online and all the advice i received was to ignore any letters, so i did just that..... all good even after 2 or 3 letters(even one from a solicitor) but... a whoile year later and DRP have contacted me twice , the last letter is now threatening court action.
I did have proof of error , the time on the ticket was wrong by 2 hrs
but.... i recently lost the ticket! so am i still to ignore ? i went to
the newbie thread but it said there not to ignore since 2013!
Should i go to court? i really cant pay the 150 at the moment as
i'm skint from car troubles but i am worried because here you all
say ignore the debt companies but in the newbie thread I'm told
not to because its all changed!!!0 -

No new thread please, it achieves nothing and we won't reply with anything different than this:
So what if you are getting letters - people have ignored the DRP/Zenith letter chain for almost a decade on here so you could be reading threads for a year once you search the forum. Try keyword 'Recovery' or 'Zenith' and settle down to get bored reading.
You missed the chance to appeal - a big, fat, SO WHAT is the answer! Entirely your choice if you send a 'get lost' reply, or late appeal - or ignore them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

yes , is the simple answer
now read the NEWBIES sticky thread, post #4 which tells you all about it , plus bear in mind this can go on for 6 years in england and wales , so dig in for the long haul
its an LBC or court papers you need to deal with, not debt collector toilet paper , even if it has scary red writing on it, they are just begging letters and should be filed away, and ignored0 -

Same as explained in post #4 of the Newbies thread. We don't actually care what happened because this is only about ignoring a letter chain and we never want to hear about every letter. Seen them all too many times before; too many threads already cover the letters.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This thread is quite old, do the same rules still apply? I've had a fine from euro car parks, appealed it and they rejected. Now asking for £100 and debt recovery threat if not paid within 28 days. Can they take me to court? Will I get a CCJ? Help please!0
