The same things have been said before. It is always "different this time." The market will always follow the cycle. What has changed is we have even less houses for the amount of people.

Me too, plus one time I got 4 numbers, they were also the first 4 numbers drawn, but the dream didn't last to the 5th number drawn.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
In 2011 When bought I was 25 in an average job(still there), wife's a nurse. House prices are incredibly affordable. I have factored in large rate rises, + 10% rates would still be manageable. London is a whole other kettle of fish, but if you want to live in a global cultural hotspot be prepared to pay a massive premium.0

You know when properties are on Rightmove it doesn't mean they can't sell - it means they're for sale.
Anyway if you want to sell why not reduce the price - there's plenty spare.
The buyer has spent £47k to fund accommodation costs and built £24k equity. The renter has spent about the same to fund accommodation costs and built £0 equity. The buyer is better off day after day and year after year.
You're blind to the cost of providing housing. You can't see beyond the price of a house and this month's rent.0 -
