Yeah, since they seem to lose money even on court wins, enough ignorers would make the scam completely unviable. The whole business seems to only work because enough people pay up due to the threat of court action.0

Has anyone else noticed that the sign seems to allow customers, who are not on the premises, unlimited parking? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

There was a sign from a Heron Foods on here the other day that did the same!

Iain Dale on the LBC 4 - 7 O'clock show also picked up on this and it was the subject of his phone-in for an hour.
By the end he was sounding pretty outraged at some of the tactics used by the PPCs and he said he was going to make it a personal campaign to try and change it. He also promised to get the transport Minister into the studio for an interview0 -

Has anyone emailed him and pointed him to this forum, plus Pepipoo, the Prankster blog, etc.?gabbleRatchet wrote: »Iain Dale on the LBC 4 - 7 O'clock show also picked up on this and it was the subject of his phone-in for an hour.

He may know important people, but he knows s*d all about parking. He was totally ignorant of the changes since POFA and was almostv encouraging people to "ignore" PPC tickets.
His last caller was a lady who had previously ignored PE tickets and was advising listeners to do the same. And he appeared to agree.
If anyone feels like informing him of the current position or making sure that the Parking Appeals guys are also interviewed, it might undo some of the potential damage he did today - unintentionally of course as he is on the side of the motorist, just unaware of the right way to deal with tickets.0 -
Seems easy enough to get in touch with him, though wonder how much good it will do> http://www.lbc.co.uk/contact-iain-dale-300630
