Sadly no NSD for me today. I went to the Dr's this morning and Doc thinks I have fractured my toe! So I had to buy better shoes to house my swollen foot :( I am getting an X-ray tomorrow.

    Tomorrow is another day!

ouch, sounds painful - there's not a great deal they can do for toes either is there :( hope it heals soon x

No NSD here, eyebrows separated, I am no longer going to be mistaken for that long lost Gallagher sister, then popped to sainsbobs for some fish pie mix...and got two bags of cat treats and some expensive TTD pasta that was on 'offer' as well  Also got some sauce and curry sauce in £stretcher (the curry sauce is the Pataks Festive one - got some jars ages ago in A$da for 10p each, so 50p feels a bit expensive but very handy to have in) Oh, and the cash point swallowed my card  had to speak to the bank in branch who then asked me my sort code and acc #...well I would tell them to you, but they were on my card, which was SWALLOWED, hence I'm phoning, and no, i don't carry my bank statements around with me.....:wall:

Ouch to gothrockchick for the painful foot, and ouch to kerri for banging your head against the wall because of stupid bankers....although maybe it's worth keeping a separate note of your account details in case your card plummets into the abyss......

Work tomorrow so have high hopes of snaring another NSD.

Seems like it's been a painful day!

Sainsbobs (liked the word so stealing it!) delivered food this eve. Why don't they price match replacement items like tescomobobs does!? I asked mr-kind-delivery-driver-man this whilst giving him back the uber costly good quality bacon sent to replace my cheap & nasty mush cavorting as bacon and mr k.d.d.man passed it back for free :) lovely jubbly. Feels like a win :T

NSD #3 in the bag today. It's not going too badly so far! Don't know if I'll manage any more before holiday though.

:hello: Hi to all August NSDers xx

I am late starting again as I have been to my mum's for a few days and have no computer there.

I don't usually spend at mum's but went to see a friend on the Saturday while I was up there so have only managed 1 NSD so far :)
I do want to try for more this month as even though I didn't get the full 10 last time I have remembered the usefullness of leaving cash and cards at home so please could you put me down for 12 for August.

I have finished the NVQ now so should be able to do more catching up at nights.

Off to catch up on thread now, will be back tomorrow

    :hello:
