Redcard - after 15 years together, I didn't see it as mine or hers. I had the paperwork and as far as I was concerned the payments were being made. She hid everything from me and refused to ask for help.0

Your partner appears to have hidden many things from you. Add this to the list.0 -
I find it very hard to imagine a storage company would let you go that long before paying the bill , traditionally t&cs said after 28 days your goods can be taken to auction , but the OFT suggest 3 months..
As a storage company owner I can confirm that the person who has signed the acceptance is responsible for the bill and is the only person we can deal with ........however I would like to see it changed to joint responsibility in the case of a couple storing goods, because I think it's legally a grey area when someone puts goods into store when it could be argued they don't own themVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -
I think she's not the only one telling porkies tbh, what storage co charges 20k for just 3 years even with penalties, troll harder next time.0

Bris - as I explained, the cost was £450 per month in addition to the cost of removing into storage, this represents the contents of a 4000sq ft house in 6 large container crates. Just because something seems high to you doesn't make it untrue, and as I explained this was supposed to be a short-term solution.0

If I was you I would be going through all the other things she pays for with a fine tooth comb, I couldn't stay in a relationship with so much secrecy but I understand people who do - good luck x0

The furniture is gone and nothing you can do.
What you can deal with is your disrespectful and lying partner.
Do you still want to be with her?
If you do, then it's ultimatum time. I would make her hand over ALL bank cards, cancel all accounts (amazon), then you look after all her finances giving her weekly cash allowence. She needs to prove she can be trusted again.
if you choose to leave, the deduct the cost of the furniture from her share of the savings!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
