Thank you so much everyone!!
I thought I'd pop in to let you know that yesterday went really well. It's very early days but she seems to like us so far!
I'm feeling just as anxious today as we're spending much longer there and more potential to get sick of us!
Money-wise, all MSE-ness has gone out of the window. We've stocked up on all of her favourite things and we treated ourselves to a trip to the pub (probably the last time for a while!).
She's really wonderful - like a big glowing ball of sunshine. Essentially, the opposite of how I was at her age. :rotfl: I think this week will be fun (and hopefully every week after!).Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%

Thought I better pop in now as I will no doubt never again get to a computer (until DD starts school!).
Tomorrow my daughter comes home for good. It has been a ridiculously emotional week and I have been very very ill due to all of the travelling and lack of sleep. On the one hand, I'm quite scared about tomorrow as she will be losing her whole world and I need to be her rock, but I'm also relieved that we can properly start to be a family without constantly going to and fro and being watched.
Hopefully I can find some time to come here soon as I miss it! I have so many threads to catch up on!

No need for weight loss plans anymore. I've lost 5lbs in 2 weeks through anxiety alone!
I'm utterly exhausted today and not quite coping with the idea that the weekend is exactly the same as the week! Needed to look at some numbers to feel soothed.
We're coping okay and having some nice moments but today the lack of rest and sleep has caught up with me. Missing normal life but I like my new one too.
Money-wise, we've spent a small fortune on food as lots gets wasted, but we haven't been anywhere or done anything so not spend much else. A bit worrying that the car insurance money hasn't come out, and we seem to have been charged twice for the phone and internet, but I have no idea when I will have the time or will to sort it out!Mortgage (Start Sep 2014)- £70,295/£0 - 100%
