Did you not see the watchdog shock horror expose of meet & greet parking?

A quick google of SVS meet and greet will find you a lot of very negative reviews.

Good luck with your complaint- at least it wasn't stolen whilst in the "secure compound"
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Also possible issue that the vehicle was being driven while uninsured?
Just curious, but how do they expect to get away with this without hacking the mileometer reading? You don't need a car cam to notice that the vehicle has far more extra miles on the clock than a trip to a secure compound and back would produce.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

If it turns out that your car was used for some illegal enterprise and the police come and question you (or worse) the first thing they will say is if it was used without your permission why didn't you report it to us.

    Cover yourself, get it reported.

Could I make a couple of points.

1/ It might be best to edit the youtube wording to remove details of the drivers address (where the vehicle was left) as the parking company concerned may state that the driver didn't give permission for their personal details to be published. (unlikely to happen, but I wouldn't give them any "wiggle room".

2/ What is the make and model of the camera you have?
I was thinking of getting one and the images from yours look nice and clear.

Surely the driver is only covered to transport the car from the Terminal to the Secure car park? That's permission from you to drive the your car for that amount of time.

So it may well be more of a civil case as technically, you HAVE given permission for the driver to use your vehicle, albeit, not to do his daily messages.

Like others have said, report it anyway!

I'd put money on the fact the police say its a civil matter and that they arent interested unless their stats for the month are looking poor.

Police arent actually experts on all aspects of law - my stolen bag became "lost property" because I didnt actually see anyone take it, the fact it was put there by me and was gone when I went to leave allegedly isnt enough to confirm its stolen.

My bet would be on them saying you willingly gave them it and with permission to drive it. Its a civil matter over what the contract said they'd do with it after you gave it them and probably subjective.

As has been said, its well known that a number of these types of company simply take the car and dump it on an industrial estate or such. With my last time of using a 3rd party long term place even they required you to leave them the keys so that they could move the car etc if necessary. Came back with another 100 miles on the clock or so with their explanation being it went to their sister site and back twice as they were too full and the other site empty.

    Video description edited as suggested.

It was taken using an e-prance AT700. £36.99 on Amazon.

While I was away its upgrade replacement (an e-prance 0803) arrived. Shame that hadn't arrived before I left because that one includes gps tracking and speed data which would make finding out where my car had gone so much easier than watching the video while scrolling through a google map trying to keep up!

I take on board the comments about how it would look should the police come knocking. It was something that hadn't occured to me. I will be going to the police once I have put the videos onto a DVD. I will email the links to the youTube videos to the company and tell them what I have done once I have been.

Same here. OP, how much did the mileage on the car increase by?
