Retailers must be mugs!

Some of you are not getting the point. All of us must park sensibly and courteously to avoid winding up the retailers and them bringing in the bad guys.
By me (and I'm sure many others) avoiding PE managed car parks Morrisons have lost my custom which has cost them about £100 per annum in clear profit. They make about £1.12 profit per customer visit according to the last financial results.REVENGE IS A DISH BETTER SERVED COLD0 -
And my response would be "Eff off and mind your own business", as it has been on other occasions.
Although in your case, I might add "And while you're at it, learn how to capitalise and punctuate properly".
Your username says it all.
Based on a verbal conversation, you would add that? You're demented. And hopefully someone gives you a slap one day.
P.S Capitalise - have you seen your own username? What a pathetic and sad individual
Rude, abnoxious & inconsiderate - what an example to your grandkids.0 -
What is needed is a ppc which actually manages the car park, as in going up to bargepole and politely asking him not to park there instead of trying to issue a ticket later. Had the lines been painted suitable for modern cars then more people would not even consider using the parent bays.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

He is saving the NHS thousands giving the little mites some exercise!

I have always found that teaching children the right way to walk in a car park or near a road, is much better then parking next to the door so the children learn how to deal with traffic.
Parking in a disabled bay is a different matter, a disability is not chosen, yet some P&C bays are nearer to an entrance then the disabled bays.
By far and away more money is spent by the NHS dealing with elderly patients, who do not exercise, than youngsters who dont. So i'd suggest he leave his 'Jag' at home and walk next time.
Yes children should learn to walk near roads and so forth, teaching takes time and there are appropriate (ie quiet times) to teach, and inappropriate times.
Sometimes kids arent chosen either...

I find the main advantage with the P&C bays is simply that they're wider. When you're trying to extract an infant from a bulky car seat you need to open the doors wide to be able to lean in properly. This never used to be a problem in the days before car seats were mandatory - though obviously they were introduced for good reason.
At my local Tesco, the P&C bays are actually further away from the entrance than some of the ordinary bays - which is fine, my kids and I are perfectly capable of walking a few yards.0 -
Can we please have elderly people bays, very wide to accomodate extra wide doors for access, and right next to the door so we don't have to walk so far.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

That'll be the disabled bay then. My father in law is 82 and fit as a fiddle - not all elderly people have trouble walking and getting out of cars. If an elderly person does have mobility problems then it's worth applying for a disabled badge. "Disabled" doesn't just mean a wheel-chair user.0 -

Define elderly
If you have mobility problems, apply for a badge0 -
What for? Blue badge means nothing on a private car park.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

And those are just my good points (although I believe you meant to write obnoxious).Confusedandneedhelp wrote: »...

It's a wonder how I managed to bring up two children, now in their thirties and in highly paid jobs, and see the three grandchildren on a regular basis.
Even more surprising is the fact that I've helped dozens of people with court cases, fighting the evil empires of speed camera enforcement and private parking companies.
As for a 'slap', many have tried. Few have succeeded.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0
