Out of interest, does the statement say the DD will be taken on that date? Most other statements say a DD will be taken on a particular date of afterwards.
It says on or immediately after, which I think means the next working day if it falls on a weekend. It doesn't explain a 5 day difference but I'm not sure since my TalkTalk DD doesn't actually come out because I pay it early to get the 15% discount.Your payment of £x.xx is due on 07/07/14. Your Direct Debit will be taken on or immediately after this date.0
