Hotel booking with Priceline

I think the cost would be about the same as we have currently paid. I booked a 4* hotel and paid the reasonable rate.

At the moment it's not really been any significant hassle - a few emails, phone calls and a letter to the credit card company, nothing major. If we decide not to accept the booking, then yes, I think it will be a lot of hassle.

On the other hand if we go there tomorrow and stay, we've lost nothing.

I'm trying not to get into the mentality of fighting just for the sake of it or over some kind of principle, but it has irked me, for sure.

I thought I would come back and update this thread.

We didn't stay at the property in the end. The credit card company got back to us today having ruled in our favour and refunded us the full amount.
