Morrison £5 Meat voucher in The Sun on Thurs July 31st

I had 6 vouchers so thought it might be a problem as I didn't have my car, as daughter uses it for work, so got the bus up to nearest Morrisons.

I used 1 voucher on steak, mince, grill steaks, then I went to the checkout, my plan of action was to put the trolley in the lockers next to the cafe, but they where all full so took a chance and just hung them on the trolley handle and proceeded to go again. (Hoping nobody challenged me) 2nd voucher was used on bacon, joint pork, pork chops and cold meat.

Thought I had pushed my luck enough so retreated to the bus stop heading home.

Late last night we ordered a take away and daughter came home with car so thought in for a penny and all that. Take away is next to Morrisons so went in again before collecting take away and then again after collecting take away.

I have 2 vouchers left so going to try again later maybe some lamb I think.

Used my last 3 vouchers this morning. I have two freezers and they are full to bursting with meat of all kinds, will make quite a good few meals for us over the coming weeks.

We had to re arrange the chest freezer yesterday to make room. Yesterday the selection was much better and I managed to get:
2 whole chickens
1 gammon joint
1 pork shoulder joint (mahoosive)
1 silverside joint
2 fish pie mix
2 salmon portions
2 packs chicken thigh fillets
3 packets extra lean minced beef

Previously we'd bought:
2 packs smoked bacon
2 packs unsmoked bacon
2 large sirloin steaks
2 packs stewing steak
1 diced lamb (ys)
2 packs lamb shoulder fillet
1 lamb leg joint

We're going to Tesco today to use the last voucher as they have lamb leg joints currently on half price and will take Morrisons vouchers. I de boned one last night that we'd bought on Thursday and there was just over 1kg meat for £7.21!

This has been such an excellent deal for us. My maternity money drops at the end of this month and we'll be effectively living on one wage (Bristol is almost as expensive as London but without the salary enhancements) This amount of meat should take us through to January and possibly beyond with some creative s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g.

more than likely be repeated as morrisons are struggling out of the big 4

in anticipation of the offer being repeated (and obviously the t&cs being the same) did you have to spend £10 on meat or was the offer so long as you had a meat product you could use the voucher?

You got £5 off when you spend £10 or more on fresh meat or fish. Hopefully the offer is the same

Thanks for that ....just one more question are things like fishcakes included in the offer?
