Morrison £5 Meat voucher in The Sun on Thurs July 31st

I bought 4 papers from Tosco extra this morning, popped along with DD to Morrisons with my 4 vouchers. We had to go in twice each and here is what we got....

1 x b/less pork joint. Reduced to £4.39
1 x lamb shoulder. Reduced to £5.69
Total spend £10.48, with voucher £5.48 (includes price of paper)

6 x minced beef 500g. On offer at 2 for £3.50
Total spend £10.90, with voucher £5.50 (price of paper included)

2 x Richmond sausages, 12 packs. £1.75 each
3 pack of pork loin steaks, reduced to £2.19
1 lamb shoulder, reduced to £4.95
Total spend £10.94, with voucher £5.94 (price of paper included)

2 whole chickens
Total spend £11.23, with voucher £6.23 (price of paper included).

Very pleased with what I got as I have been able to fill the freezer up quite a bit, it was getting very low. :eek:

Would only let you buy 1 copy of the sun at the kiosk ...... picked up six and went to self scan where no one complained or stopped me.

They would have stopped you if they saw you do it though.

Hubby picked up 10 papers in the local newsagent this morning

We're going once he's finished work tonight and will try and do2 trips each. Ill go once on my own tomorrow then we'll go together in the evening then we have Sat & Sun to pop in too. Luckily Morrisons is walking distance from our house.

It'll really help the maternity pay stretch that little bit further. I'm so glad of my chest freezer!

They are being very strict, our store had the Manager standing by the tills and if he recognised you from before they won't serve you again. Luckily we went to the self serve first time and lady manning them gave us a heads up

Hubby is going to get another 4 papers today, with me being unable to work due to ill health and Hubby temping we have to make our money go as far as possible.

Our local store didn't have any of the 3 for £10 deals on.

I didn't realise you could use the vouchers at the self serves. Do they just scan?
