Quick response to everyone who has posted on this thread.
We are working directly with Tesco on this £10 for £5 Tesco Gift Card. Once you purchase you will receive a thank you email to confirm your order has been successful. Exactly 24 hours after purchase you will receive your Mighty Deals voucher code. Please follow the simple instructions and redeem this voucher code. As soon as this is done you will receive your £10 Tesco Gift Card within 10 days.
Demand was big for this deal. We have just released a further 5000, so 25,000 in total.
Please also be aware that this deal is 1 per customer. If anyone creates multiple accounts with the aim of purchasing more, we will cancel additional orders. We have run a number of '50% Off The Highstreet' deals Debenhams, Argos, Currys & PC World. It is 1 '50% Off The Highstreet' deal per customer. This is explained in the deal terms.
I hope everyone loves the offer, we are working hard to get more for you. If anyone does have any questions please either email customerfeedback@mightydeals.co.uk, or create a ticket on the Mighty Deals website. Our customer service do and will respond.
Thanks

I bought one and my DH bought one and because I control the shopping budget he paid using my card. His £5 voucher payment has now been refunded and he has no deal offer, was it because we used the same card twice? He has held his own account for over a year now.0 -

One per customer
So if you genuinely have two or more people living in your household, each of them can buy one through their own accounts?--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0 -
Dear Neil - thank you for posting this reassuring message here. My postman has now been instructed to pay special attention to my letter for the next 10 days.0

That's how I read it and as we have both got accounts which have been opened for 12 months or more surely they can see we haven't just set them up to get more vouchers.
Not really too fussed as don't shop there a lot but just wondering why DH's has been cancelled.0 -

Hi Guys,
Firstly Babbity, you are right I can see why this is confusing. Previous 50% off the Highstreet' deals had the Retail Gift Card emailed to them. Tesco deal is different, it is being posted out. We will amend this message now, thank you for highlighting.
Basically guys we have fraud reports that protect our customers. So if a customer pays using one card/address, but asks for the deal to be shipped to another address, it gets highlighted as a risk. It is similar for the Tesco deal. We need to limit the deal to 1 per customer for a number of reasons and this will mean that if 2 people have used the same card, this may be highlighted as a risk and will be cancelled and refunded. All customers should get an email to say what has happened. Please check 'junk' folders as well over next couple of days, just in case it has gone into here.
The deal is not limited to 1 per household however. 2 people from the same house, with different accounts and cards can purchase.
Everyone will also get an email to confirm when the Gift Card has been posted. They are all getting picked and attached to letter as we speak. Some will start going out tomorrow.
Again hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Neil Campbell

So as I understand it, my DH will need to use his own account for payment rather than the food account card. Thanks for clarifying.
No email from you advising of the cancellation but raised a ticket asking why it was cancelled and told by 'Ashanta' it's because it bought 2 cards on 1 account. This isn't correct as both me and DH got an email each giving the redemption codes, so confused now!............0 -
Does anyone know if you can use this £10 gift card against petrol? If my husband and I both bought one, can we pay for our shopping with both cards in one transaction?
Thanks for reading.

So although my wife and I have separate MightyDeals accounts, and separate credit cards, because she is a secondary credit card holder on my account (and therefore has the same card details) one of our applications will be rejected later?
That's a pretty rubbish way to treat your customers (without any warning). Rest assured - if that happens, both accounts will be cancelled and that's the last you'll see of either of us! No big deal, I'm sure, but I doubt we'll be the only ones, given the reputation of MightyDeals, which is bad already and getting steadily worse.
