I had no idea Mighty Deals and Hush Hush are the same organisation. My daughter and I bought one each from both MD and HH thinking this was allowed as they are two different companies (or so we thought). No explanation or e-mail from HH but I presume our two lots of £5 will be refunded? It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0

Mine arrived today...not checked balance yet but does anyone remember a similar deal with the Do it all cards ? Those arrived with a 0 balance but the money was loaded onto the card 24 hours later...this is a security measure apparently. Wonder if the same thing is going to happen with these cards ?0

Well so far it is consistent with zeros so we'll see what the rep says maybe?0

Hopefully that is the case- might have been nice to put that detail in the letter that came with the cards?0

Wonderful - zero balance cards. I look forward to receiving mine.
You do have to feel sorry for anyone working for MightyDeals, don't you? Constantly trying to defend the indefensible, and thwarted at every possible opportunity by yet another example of bad customer service making quite sure that customers never return for another dose of MightyDeals Muddle!
Or is it just muddle? I rather suspect not.0 -

Difficult to tell isn't it!
I assumed they'd get this one (tesco) right - as what, I thought, could go wrong with a posted gift card?
But that special Mighty Deals incompetence strikes again.
Their particular brand of inept promo emails seems ongoing too - I had another series of their "£5 Mighty Cash" ones recently - the ones titled "£5 Mighty Cash", followed up with "Last chance for your £5 Mighty Cash" and finally with "Your £5 Mighty Cash expires today" - none of which, in the body of the email, mention "£5 Mighty Cash" at all. And neither does my account if I log in.
It takes a special type of incompetence for that poor a promotion.0 -
Amazing that nobody at Tesco seems to have noticed there's an issue. Surely at least one Tesco employee subscribes to MSE and understands that it's hardly great publicity for them...doesn't take a genius to spot the problem and suggest to someone higher up the Tesco food chain(!) takes an interest.0

Hi Everyone
Just off the phone with Tesco all the cards will have the £10 on them by this time tomorrow at the latest.
We sent the 1st batch of codes out 1st class and they arrived a little earlier than expected.
Keep checking your cards £10 can take up to 24hrs but should be quicker.
Thanks
