I made flap jacks today and the kids loved them so they were happy. A big thing was changing from school dinners to pack up but it's the school holidays so that gives me a few weeks to try new things which will keep them from moaning come September.

Judi, dear little Soldier he looks gorgeous, and those bags look quite heavy.
He was probably overwhelmed by it all, I am sure he will settle down, and he looks like any other child starting school, all clean and sparkling and starting out on a new adventure. Your daughter and her partner have done him proud, and this time next year you will be telling us how well he has done in his school tests.
